The ESCAPE Ride benefits:

About the Ride

The ESCAPE Ride 2006 is Southern Colorado AIDS Project's (S-CAP) seventh annual bicycle ride. This year, we will guide you through the hills, valleys, forests, and plains of Colorado's scenic Chaffee County. A multi-distance loop will be offered in order to make the ESCAPE Ride accessible to novice riders, yet challenging for experienced riders. For the third year in a row, the route will begin and end at the Buena Vista KOA. The event will be fully supported with all meals, snacks, SAG (Support and Gear), cabins, and campsites.

New this year - We are offering an "early bird" registration fee. Register on or before June 30th and save $15 off the regular registration fee. We are also pleased to announce that the Ride will be a one-day biking event in order to accommodate those who have busy lives and can only manage to get away from their daily grinds for a limited time. The route will also differ this year. A multi-distance loop has been designed to challenge all levels of riders. Click here (coming soon) to see the road route.

The rider registration fee is $75 until June 30th, and $90 after June 30th. Each rider is required to raise a minimum of $250 in donations.  Proceeds will support the client services, education, and prevention activities of the Southern Colorado AIDS Project, and our goal is to return 100% of the monies generated by riders back to S-CAP client services.

Registered riders will receive a t-shirt, goodies, and a sense of satisfaction knowing they are making a difference in people's lives!

A special commemorative jersey is available for purchase here and will also be available during the Ride.
